AFRO ARAB YOUTH COUNCIL MARKS 22 YEARS

The Afro-Arab Youth Council traces its origins to the first Inter-Ministerial Committee Meeting between African and Arab Ministers of Foreign Affairs held on 9 March 1979, where the need for structured Afro-Arab cooperation was strongly emphasized by both the African Union and the Arab League. Since its establishment, the Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC) has acted as a vital bridge between African and Arab youth, promoting cooperation, cultural exchange, and collective action toward a peaceful and prosperous shared future.

Afro-Arab Youth Council Condemns the Acts of Genocide in Sudan and Calls for Urgent International Action.

The Afro-Arab Youth Council is following with deep concern the alarming escalation and acts of violence in the brotherly Republic of Sudan, which amount to genocide committed by the warring parties against civilians in El-Fasher and other regions.
These atrocities include brutal killings, forced displacement, and systematic violations of human rights, constituting a blatant breach of international humanitarian law and all human values.
